I. W. H. K.

Motherhood portrait sessions; are a 1 hour photo-shoot at home or a nearby location focusing my eye on your inherent love as a mother, your ageless strength and beauty (and that of your young), and the relationship you share. Photography is gentle, timeless, honest and emotive (each shot a unique artwork of it’s own). I will capture and edit a variety of images in both black and white photography, and colour, with both candid moments and natural portraiture.

“I am deeply seated in the life and heart of motherhood- the connection between a mother and her offspring, both days prior and post cutting the umbilical cord. I am enchanted by each unique story I come across, the story that is rooted within the body, eyes and energy of anyone in front of my lens, trusting me enough to give me a glimpse of their true selves.”

More info;
~You will receive approximately 40 carefully captured and artfully edited photographs via a private online gallery to download from (digital files in high resolution, catering for large printing desires), a few weeks post-shoot.
~Film format photography is also available to include into your session, at a small additional fee to cover costs.
~A travel fee may also apply, subject to location/availability. Please enquire.
~I can assist with your styling, mood-board and location choices pre-shoot. This is something I love to consider, to truly make the shoot something else- to convey the right mood, and the essence of you.
